Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Brand new studio style unit with everything you need and more. Private covered-in Patio with field and mountain views. Access to the lake-style pond and the 7-acre property its located in. Ground floor of a 2-story apartment which will require respect for other guests if tenanted. Whole apartment upstairs and down, can be booked at one time catering up to 12 people. The studio is best for couples or a family with 1 child.

Our property includes three additional accommodation spaces:- * An apartment located on the 2nd story above the studio * Two standalone cottages further down the hill toward the lake Each accommodation has been thoughtfully positioned to ensure privacy and a sense of space for all guests.

Other Details to Note

We are also neighbours to a working sheep farm on one side and a transfer station on the other so we get intermittent noise throughout the day. The transfer station shuts down at 4pm every day.

House Rules

Smoking only on patios and decks. All children are to be supervised at the playground and Lake areas by an adult at all times. All areas outside your patio is a shared space with other guests and the hosts family.

Accessibility

Neighborhood

The Guesthouse is located under the main Airbnb House but is still very private. Next door is a sheep farm with rolling paddocks and on the other side is a transfer station which has intermittent noise throughout the day. On the whole it is a quiet and tranquil place to stay. The property lake is a 2 minute walk and is the most peaceful and beautiful spot on the property.

Guest Access

Guests are welcome to explore the property and the lake area for swimming and relaxing. This is a shared space with other guests and hosts family and friends. The lake outdoor kitchen is the hosts private area but can be used by guests on request. The treehouse and trampoline are for guests in which adult supervision is required at all times including the lake. The bike jumps are also available for guests with their own bikes.

Wir waren vier Nächte hier und haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Blick vom Haus auf die Landschaft ist atemberaubend, das Areal der Blue Lagoon sehr originell und gemütlich und die Wohnung ist blitzblank. Die Gastgeber haben wirklich an jegliche Ausstattung gedacht, die man benötigen könnte. Man merkt auf dem ganzen Areal, dass hier viel Zeit und Leidenschaft investiert wurden. Leider hat es just an dem einen Tag geregnet, an dem wir an der Lagoon mehr Zeit verbringen wollten - aber dafür können die Gastgeber nichts. Ansonsten liegt die Unterkunft zentral um zum Strand, in die Stadt, oder in den Nationalpark zu kommen. Wir haben Yvette und Ross kurz kennen gelernt und einen angenehmen Plausch gehabt. Absolute Empfehlung für einen kurzen oder auch längeren Aufenthalt, wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen! Vielen Dank

We spent a lovely 2 nights at Yvette's. The area was beautiful with great views over the surrounding mountains and it was a quick drive to restaurants and cafes in town and to Abel Tasman park. We enjoyed sitting by the pond in the evening and watching the sunset. The apartment was spacious and had all the amenities you could need. Would definitely recommend!
